Friday :
walk of hope
SHERMAINE SIM'S BIRTHDAY :D
went for training in the morning .
dad drove rena and i to school .
training was alright, just that had some dizzy spells and injured my right ankle .
oh, huilin and i browsed through the rackets,
& I SAW THIS FANTABULOUS WHITE RACKET . mommy agreed to buy it ! :D
it's for my birthday & christmas . hahah .
then went home & bathed, went to changi hawker centre .
had the famous nasi lemak . LOL . no diff . :X
then had briefing & uncle neek drove some mentors, shermaine & i to the bungalow .
turns out that it was a chalet, we got the wrong house . LOL .
so uncle roy came and drove us to the other side .
nathan was there too . he's damn cute lah . LOL . small boy :D
then tried watching tv but nothing nice luhs , soon they came and we all settled in our own rooms .
well, obviously had to share it :D but quite alright .
sher and i had the beds for the night .
rained heavily so we didn't do much .
went to fall in at the boys' bungalow .
why is it always at the boys' bungalow !?
limped there . LOL .
was in robbie's group, daniel, timothy, megan, hannah and joyce too .
had to compose a song about hope according to the " nobody " tune .
haha, the song by wondergirls . ohmylama .
cracked our heads . well, came up with lame lyrics and funny actions . hahah .
had dinner . JAPANESE FOOD :D
then had to present our songs .
yes, timothy dance damn pro . everybody laughed .
then had uncle desmond to have some sort of devotion . LOL .
then had to go guess who's who with the baby photos we submitted . HAHA .
mine was 3 :D PEOPLE. IF YOU CAN'T GUESS, YOU'RE BLIND . :X
then bathed, went back to boys' bungalow and watched some sort of horror show .
nightmare at elmstreet or sth . HAHAH .
then went back, did some quizzes in our QT booklet .
fought with( ran away from ) the moths & slept :D
the boys said that they saw people fighting outside HAHA .
Saturday :
walk of love
couldn't wake up . HAHA .
sher had a difficult time waking me up . sorry :X
had to assemble at 7am okay !
i woke up like 6.50am . ohmylama .
had mac burgers fr breakfast . & short devotion by jiejie jessie .
then played " Spy with a Difference " .
we had to go around finding the same place the photos given were taken,
& take a picture of the location .
then spot the difference . LOL .
did that pretty fast, then went back fr lunch .
did some balloon sculpting .
woots, mine didn't burst while the others' did . how pro can i get . HAH .
then went fr our amazing race thing .
three camps, 9 stations, according to the story in exodus .
1st was camp barren .
has to clip clothes pegs on our shirts . 30 of them .
then hold a pingpong ball with a pair of chopsticks .
and run/walk the path and back .
i didn't have to participate :D hurt leg . HAHAH .
but had to hold the paintbucket .
the painting was real high up .
daniel painted my hair and clothes -.-
thanks man.. i have golden hair .
then second was to have someone seal themself in a box . HAHA .
joyce did it . played a prank on her .
went all quiet and she thought she left .
third was to balance on some planks while using the rubber noodle thing to hit each other . one who falls first loses . :D
we won all three baby ! :B
then 2nd was camp terror .
went to some run down place .
had to figure out some story . hahha .
had to kneel down on the rough surface and use a ice-cream stick to roll the egg in a certain space .
it's marked out with tape . the stick has to be in your mouth, no hands .
my knees bled maanxzc .
then was puppet master .
robbie volunteered . then had to tie strings on him . like some puppet .
and had to find the right color balls .
then, went to some shed and had to use strings and a rubber band, and stack the cups such that it forms a pyramid . difficult :S
last but not least, camp water ( don't know what ) . LOL .
went by the sea, had to do a human pyramid .
poor guys, had to support our weight . :X
then one person had to throw 5 water bombs in the bucket that the person on top is holding . we already got real wet .
wounds hurt lah .
then had to cover the holes that were drilled on the bucket . 37 of them .
and had to fill the bucket . hahah , tough .
then was some game . played it during sec 1 orientation too .
made water bombs, and had to destroy the newspaper thing of the other team . fun !
then walked back, time for BBQ !(:
said our grace, had dinner & bathed .
came back fr more food :D & fellowshipped .
had awards presentation, fr like most prayerful and stuff .
then watched unborn . with all the lights off, super cool but somewhat scary .
dumb people keep scaring me :P
andand isaac's face got scratched and has a long scar . eee . poor kor .
well, went back to our bungalow with sher and both of us had to sleep on the floor ! ):
couldn't sleep lah, msged the guys LOL -.- nth to do .
then slept in the end, fr a bit .
Sunday :
got woken up 7, couldn't take it , went to sleep .
woke up at 7.30 . half hour late .
rushed and made our way to the boys' bungalow yet again .
because i was still damn sleepy, i scratched myself .
now there are scars, looks like kena scratched by cat liddat . HAHA .
had breakfast and church service .
then went back to clean up and had prize presentation .
we, group 3, came in 2nd :D
sher's group came in 1st ! congrats :D
took group photo and uncle samuel drove jon, sher, qianyue and i to changi hawker centre .
then went with paul, andrew and shermaine to changi airport .
because i didn't want to take mrt, we took the wrong bus and went 6rounds, back and forth . LOL . ended up back at changi hawker centre . HAHA , sorry guys :X
& when we got on the bus, tapped our card, the insane bus driver said to us .
" haha, this bus doesn't go to changi airport, but too late ! you tapped your card alr, you've got to join the ride ! "
i mean, wtf ? LOL . we laugh like crazy .
in the end, asked some passenger next to us, & made our way there .
had lunch at popeyes' . delicious !
walked around, went candy empire .
then slacked at the skytrain there .
neal gave sher this huge jellybean thing . $28.90 people !
plus a teddy bear . LOL . he's a generous man .
then we played a game, guess the flavor . LOL . fun !
ate like 1/8 of it . wow . it's alot already .
then composed a song about two people . HAHAH , FUNNY ! :D
using the nobody song .
then shared some jokes, including racist jokes :X
SORRY YOU GUYS OUT THERE .
laugh like crazy people .
headed off to the mrt at 4.45pm .
sang our modified version of " Down " when at the escalator . hahha .
took a picture of patrick taking the escalator , shall upload that another time .
lazy haha :)
then mrt-ed home .
i almost wanted to drop and fall asleep on the ground halfway .
aww, i so LOVE this retreat ! i want it all over again !
